Members of The Winnetka Club believe that local actions make a difference in our own lives and that of our neighbors. We serve the greater North Shore by creating civic opportunities in our neighborhoods, improving our community, honoring our local heroes, and donating proceeds to charitable organizations in the greater North Shore area. A not-for-profit community service organization founded in 1908 as the Winnetka Women’s Club, we continue into the next century shaping our community.
The Winnetka Club (formerly, The Winnetka Woman’s Club) is a non-profit organization with a well-recognized history of service. For over 100 years, The Winnetka Club has been dedicated to community service and involvement. The philanthropic goals of The Winnetka Club include:
- Providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors that live in the New Trier Township and who exhibit character, merit and need
- Contributions to New Trier Township programs which support community and civic needs
- Outreach and volunteer activities by our members to provide service and support
